Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location:Â Painted Post, NY
Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time
Responsibilities: As an Occupational Therapist with ProCare Therapy, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas requiring intervention.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor skills, sensory integration, and activities of daily living.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual, small group, and classroom settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to develop strategies and accommodations to support student progress.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and best practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state licensure NY
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
